These times include unforeseen and unstable circumstances for many of our HeartField families. And at HeartField, we prioritize meeting the needs of our children. However, we can only do this with community support. We are not a program-fee dependent operation. 40% of our families rely on community funds and grants to support their child's participation. 15% of our families pay $50 or less for programming. We anticipate those percentages to increase this next year. A total of $16,000 has been allocated to support our families in need of support this year. Help us fill this need and be ready for what lies ahead!

Now entering our 3rd Autumn of programming, we have engaged over 150 children from Whidbey Island and beyond. So far, no child has been turned away for lack of funds and we have kept our doors open amidst fluctuations in need. Let's keep it that way! 

We are seeking $10,000 to directly support current HeartField children and HeartField families to come.

HeartField facilitates a safe space for a diversity of children to be in community together, to practice self respect, mutual respect, and deep listening, to explore art as a medium of creative expression, and find confidence and peace through Earth connection. 

 

All HeartField programs are offered on a Sliding Scale Fee Model, giving our families the opportunity to pay what they can, when they can. Our Rooting Fund will help us establish a solid financial foundation specifically so we can provide accessible programming to a diversity of families now and into the future and sustain the work of tending the social/emotional needs of our children during these times.
